Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of massage are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
Neuromuscular therapy is a system of massage techniques that were developed in the 1930's by Dr. Stanley Lief in England. It uses a holistic approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Neuromuscular therapy also enhances the function of joints and muscles, and accelerates the overall healing process by facilitating the release of endorphins.
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger Point Therapy is a style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing "trigger points" in your body. Trigger points are tender areas of tension similar to acupressure points, except they occur in the belly of the muscle rather than along the energy pathways of the body. These "knots" are built up throughout a person's life due to physical, mental, and/or emotional stress. During a session, focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques order to release your trigger points. This process can be quite painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative.
Energy work is based on the belief that everyone has a "life force", and that the body needs to sustain its balance for optimum health. Anytime you experience emotional or physical illness, it indicates that your life force has simply become unbalanced. I work directly with your energy field to restore balance and flow to your entire system. And once your energy field has been restored to full health, your body will follow.
Orthopedic massage is a style of massage therapy focused on treating painful conditions that affect the soft tissues of the body. Because orthopedic massage is designed to treat medical conditions, it requires extensive training. It involves releasing tense muscles, helping to stretch and lengthen tight muscles and tendons, and decompress rigid joints. My goal is to restore full health to the soft tissues of your body, both treating your specific conditions as well as improving your overall well-being.
Developed by physical therapist Bonnie Pruden in 1976, myotherapy involves applying focused pressure onto specific points of the body called "trigger points". Trigger points are places in the body that can cause pain to other areas of the body. For instance a trigger point on the hamstring might cause pain in the lower back. These trigger points are dissolved by applying direct pressure to the muscle for several seconds with either the hands, fingers, or elbows. Through several sessions of myotherapy, trigger points are eliminated, restoring full function and health to the body.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.
Geriatric massage is a form of massage designed to meet the specific needs of the elderly. It helps to improve blood circulation, relieve pain, and also increase range of motion. If you are elderly, geriatric massage can help you maintain and improve your overall health, as well as regain certain physical functions that have been reduced due to aging. In addition, since the elderly don't typically receive enough physical touch, this massage can also help alleviate symptoms of loneliness or depression.

Pregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.
Lymphatic Drainage Therapy aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LD can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort from pregnancy, and strengthened resistance to illness.
Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function.
Myofascial massage is a technique used to treat injuries and discomfort, reducing pain and increasing range of motion. Myofascial massage differs from other types of massage in that it targets the fascia - the membrane surrounding muscles - rather than the muscle itself. Since fascia completely encases every muscle in the body, imbalances in the fascia can have serious effects on your range of motion and comfort level. While other forms of massage can overlook the fascia, myofascial massage focuses specifically on releasing tension in this important membrane.
The Trager Approach is a type of bodywork developed by Dr. Milton Trager. It is designed to free up the body, release muscle tension, and improve your state of mind and physical well-being. Because Trager is a very gentle and individualized type of bodywork, it is suitable for a wide range of clients including the disabled and the elderly. The tension and pain released by Trager sessions allows you to move more naturally and effortlessly, improving your overall quality of life.
Structural integration employs soft tissue manipulation with the goal of realigning the body in relationship to the force of gravity. The theory underlying structural integration asserts that often the body's connective tissue is "bound up," thus restricting opposing muscles from working independently of one another. Thus, we aim to loosen the restricted connective tissue by using a practice very similar to deep tissue massage. Practitioners typically prescribe a specific sequence of ten sessions lasting between 75 and 90 minutes in order to "unlock" the whole body.
Medical massage is various techniques (Manual Therapies) used to increase range of motion, decrease pain, using PNF, Neuromuscular Re-education. I am certfied in Medical Massage. This work is done in 15 minute inclements.

Using different essential oils on the bottom of the feet, called vitaflex points. Oils are distributed through the body and work syngeristically to provide healing through cleansing, restoring and erasing troubled cells. Oils enter through the pores of the skin and go directly into the blood stream, causing extreme relaxation and can destroy bacteria, fungus and viruses in the body. The spine is able to relax and often the participant has significiant height change. You can not be allergic to the oils, however, you can have sensitivity. Rashes can develop, because of detoxification. The session usually takes an hour to hour an a half.
Abdominal Visceral Manipulation
Abdominal visceral manipulation, is done by working in the visceral tissue surrounding an organ. I have been trainned in level 1 visceral manipulation. The liver can get stuck by either stress, myo fascial tightness and congestion through repetitive motion or caused my an injury. The visceral surrounding the liver can literally get stuck and then does not function properly and can cause shoulder issues.
Gallbladder can be drainned through this process. Also visceral manipulation has been quite helpful for women with severe menstrual cramping. By working in the abdominal wall, a peculiar ligament can cause tension to the attachments to the ovarian ligament, which then create painful periods, or can cause the body to stop having menstrual periods. This work is very gentle and light, but very effective for these issues.

This is a very powerful therapy. If you ever wander why your have a chronic pain pattern in your body, consider the source. I personally believe in treating the whole person. I believe in finding the root cause to people's pain, not just treating the symptom. I personally have experienced the link between my own body pains and coming to terms that there was an emotional response to much of the pain I have experienced in my own body. I am not a physician. I cannot prescribe or diagnosis your condition, but through my training I can assist you in your path to finding the root cause of your pain.
When you have trauma's starting at a very early age, like most of us, an example: You fell off your bike when you were 5 or 6 years old. You body stores that memory. If the fall you had was bad enough, fear may have entered in, and from that point every time you got on a bike thereafter fear lingered in the back of your mind that you may fall down again. That memory will stay with you forever, the emotion that went along with that memory was fear. Fear pops up continually and it causes you to become fearful in other areas until you get rid of that emotion.
The essential oils carry very powerful healing properties. Monopenes. A single molecule that restores cellular memory, right down to the DNA. Seq
Deep inner healing therapy especially for those that have memory blocks. Trauma and pain can get trapped in our mental/thinking, the left side of our brain. The left side is the center of analytical, survival, denial, intellect and the right side of our brain is the center of our feelings, imagination and creativity. When we get bombarded by life, when people have been abusive towards us and in general sometimes bad things happen to good people. We all build inner walls and those walls can become a fortress around our hearts. We all get stuck at some point in our lives. But for some the walls become so great we find it difficult to cope, we sabotage relationships, we sabotage ourselves and stress takes us to places we don't want to go but land up going. Destructive patterns occur and so on and so forth, sometimes we feel like life is out of control as your trying to control ever aspect. When this lifestyle becomes overwhelming, you can't live in the present of just being. Your heart is not in sync with the rest of you. We were born to be human beings, not just human doings! And we can't have the joy, peace and love we want until we learn to be in the present!
Heart Sync Therapy is out of the box therapy founded by an amazing man/priest and Licensed therapist by the name of Andy Miller.
